FirmGreen Aims to ‘Green’ the Sports Scene
FirmGreen to Support GreenSlam Initiative
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (August 31, 2007) — FirmGreen™ announced today that it is supporting the GreenSlam initiative, launched this week by Billie Jean King, sports legend – and founder of WorldTeam Tennis (WTT). Earlier this year, FirmGreen signed a multi-year contract to help sponsor both the WTT Professional and Recreational Leagues, and became the Official Green Energy Company of WTT.

- sports leagues benefit by using their platform to raise eco-awareness and empowering individuals to make a positive environmental impact
- venues and athletic organizations benefit by better management of their energy costs
As a developer of alternative energy projects, FirmGreen creates and markets certified RECs and GHG emission offsets. Ordinarily, the company markets the credits to support its continuing investment in renewable energy and alternative fuels.
